The net result was Colorado has already been delivered to the Democrats, so Governor Polis doesn't bring anything for her.
They concluded he is probably looking at 2028.

Whomever is on the Democrat ticket this year is going to lose. They will stick some loser with Harris, likely the Governor of Pennsylvania.

They will ramp up the enthusiasm for '28 with some fresh faces, trying to distance themselves from the Biden debacle- especially if Trump is somewhat successful.

When Trump wins, look for a mass retirement of Democrats. A lot of the old faces will move on, opening the door for new blood.

There will likely be a move towards the center since DEI and all the race/gay/antifa garbage is not polling well.

It will be Vance against whatever "moderates" will gain attention, including and especially Polis.

We know his story but he has been positioning himself as a centrist, even as a libertarian. He has the pedigree many will like- businessman, US representative, Governor and of course, gay.

But he is much too smart to attach himself to this losing group.

Former President Barack Obama didn?t endorse Kamala Harris ? saying Democrats would pick an unnamed ?outstanding nominee? in his first statement on?President Biden stepping aside?from the party?s ticket.

?We will be navigating uncharted waters in the days ahead,? said Obama, 62. ?But I have extraordinary confidence that the leaders of our party will be able to create a process from which an outstanding nominee emerges.?

They have about or is it over 100-300 million in the re-elect pool - I guess it is time to convert that into pocket change and get a kickback.

I think it was early February that I predicted on these pages the Dems would replace Biden by late July or August and throw in politicians younger than the elderly and widely unpopular Trump.

Not a prediction, just wild speculation that Michelle Obama will step in as the VP candidate, cementing the "underserved" minorities of brown blackish, black, and women. Add to that, Kamala is of Indian and Jamaican descent and her husband is Jewish. It'll be the girls vs. the boys. The identity politics thing on steroids. Will middle America working moms buy into that? The Indians, Caribbeans and Jewish?

J.D. Vance's youth and Indian wife may be plusses, but he keeps saying stupid stuff that the silent majority conservatives don't regard as good international policy.

No way, no how the Dems relinquish power in any form.
