    Default spring turkey

    last spring went down by rockvale in unit 84, scouted the week before, saw all kinds of birds. opening day about 35 hunters and no birds to be found, didnt even hear any shots. lots of birds but too many hunters, id stay clear.

    I do not know where to go yet, but I will say, I have the baddest ass shot gun now for hunting turkey!!!!!!!!!!!

    I just started turkey hunting last year. In the fall I went down to the Canyon city area. Saw lots of hens. I'll be giving U-84 another try. I saw flocks of goblers on my way deer hunting in Gilpin County.

    well I screwed up for turkey...I though the close date was the 15th. I logged in, and found out it was the 12th. so....guess I am going in the fall now.
