I went shooting today at the south site with my son and a friend. We set up on the 100yd lane and started shooting. Along came a couple of guys who asked if they could sight in real quick. Long story short, very nice people and here is a picture of my son (9) shooting the new rifle they were sighting in. He took 2 shots and hit his mark each time. Now we know what happens to a bowling pin when hit with a 50 cal.

WOW! I was 17 before I got to shoot my first .50cal.

I'm sure that is an experience he'll be telling all of his friends about for years.

I don't think he will ever forget it, still smiling ear to ear and trying to decide were the spent cases will be displayed.

He also got to put a mag thru a full-auto ar with silencer. Pretty cool.
