Facebook was the biggie for me. Look up one person, befriend them, look at their friends and realize you know xyz too, befriend them, etc.

We have our little gang of people now, that have known each other since high school, but facebook was what reconnected us after so many years.

Now that I think of it, classmates.com may have helped me find some classmates from Middle School in Puerto Rico.

But I went to a small middle school, in Puerto Rico. But it was in their database, and helped.

My 64th is the end of this month. Looked at the list of people attending and I don't think I know any of them. I saw the list of the ones that had passed and unfortunately that list had the only folks I had any interaction with.
Never attended any of the reunions due to my living here and my HS was in Salem,Mass.

My very first girlfriend from grade school contacted me through classmates. Set up a lunch "date" with her. (Wife was OK with it) Found out why we were not together for very long, her mom did NOT like my mom. Different class of people - ya know. Ate lunch, talked, and went our separate ways. Have not heard from her since.

A few others have contacted me.

Thought about going to the 50th, but didn't make it. Won't be going to the 60th either.

    “Time” was his answer.

There are a small handful of people post high school I often thought it would be good to touch base with but then again…..we aren’t the same people we were then.
Wow, never knew we hung out with the same crowd

Left NY 40 yrs ago. Last time we saw anyone from H.S was at my brothers funeral. Did not recognize any of them, as they all got fat, bald and for some reason never left the area.

I was a punk rocker in high School.
No use for any of my class mates then.
    None still.

We’ve had two so far. I didn’t get an invite to either, but my wife got invited to both. I have no idea what, if anything, that means. I wouldn’t have even known about them if she hadn’t told me about them.

We didn’t go to the 10 year reunion because the cover charge was more than I could afford. It’s was a few hundred dollars each to attend.
My wife and I planned on going to the 20th but didn’t make it. My wife was in labor with our youngest that night.
I’d like to go to the 30th, but I’ll probably not recognize anyone. I don’t even recall any of their names, or faces, at this point.

I know two people from high school still. My wife and my meat processor.

I don’t remember high school being bad or traumatic or anything, I think I even had a lot of friends at the time. I just don’t recall much about it anymore.

I had considered Classmates once a long while back but never signed up. I don’t do much on Facebook other than sell something on marketplace once in a while. I don’t really know if one is better than the other for tracking down old acquaintances. You’ve all got me wondering if there’s a class group on Facebook now though. I’ll have to ask my wife.

I hated school. Just hated it. Especially high school. I couldn't stand all the groups and cliques. Even playing HS baseball and tennis I didn't hang out with any of the other players. I left my first high school in Houston in the middle of my junior year when we moved to Colorado and finished at Lakewood HS. Started my senior year there and dropped out to play pro tennis. Had a blast but life has a way of bludgeoning dreams and aspirations. We moved to Wyoming, I went back to school and graduated there in 79. I couldn't name a single person I went to school with in Colorado or Wyoming. Not one. Left WY as soon as the Air Force would take me. I couldn't wait to get away from home and be on my own. Never even looked back.

In almost 50 years we have never really lost touch with each other. Having a graduating class of only 29 makes that relatively easy to do. We're 'ohana.

Of course, having the reunions on Maui at the school make them well attended...

May of next year guess where I'll be for my 50th!
