So I'm to believe that whomever put the signs up and the people laughing in this thread like it's no big deal are pro-Kamala since she's the subject of the ridicule therein? I may have been born at night but it wasn't last night. I think we can safely make that assumption with a fair degree of certainty.

I'm no fan of Kamala (to say the least) but to link "Black people must sit at the back of the bus" in ANY sort anti-Kamala message is out of line. Full stop. It doesn't matter who it's "against" and it makes it worse that it's not even necessary to convey the point. It's not irony and it's not humorous.

Freedom of speech isn?t free if you?re told what you can or cannot say. (?Insert -You can?t yell fire in a theater rebuttal here.?)

It seems like the signs are referring to the fact that the left is pandering and importing illegals to replace the black vote which they are losing. The race hustlers are losing their grip.

People are mentally tired of the name calling from the left and don?t give a shit anymore and its about time. Say what you want and don?t give the left an inch of their self perceived morale high ground.

A Republican activist who publicly mused about shooting Latinos this week is claiming credit for racist signs that appeared overnight in Denver on Thursday.

Sabo complained about Venezuelans and other Latinos, and used an ethnic slur for the Latino journalist who covered the racist signs posted outside the Capitol and the closure of the apartment complex in Aurora.

So it wasn't a joke but a political statement???

It’s an indictment of the logical endpoint of the intersectional group rights mindset of the modern progressives and leftists. I can explain it, but I can’t understand it for you.

Anyone labelling this ‘racist’ doesn’t understand history, politics, satire or the blending of those. It is about as intellectually sophisticated as people complaining about the word “niggardly”.

Now maybe I am niggardly handing out points for understanding this. Yes, it is provocative. But if said “Whites to the back of the bus”, it probably wouldn’t have made the news. If we had truly educated reporters, they would report on the nuance behind the message and let people decide. Even better, if we had an educated electorate, they would see that with out being told.

If you don’t get the allusion to the back of the bus, maybe you belong on a short bus.

Yeah, it's pretty messed up and the exact type of thing that makes Democrats so comfortable labeling all Republicans as racists. They see stuff like this posted in a (largely) Republican setting and a bunch of members laughing about it and then ganging up on the one guy who dares to ask them to question if they're openly supporting racism and you can see why they draw such conclusions. I'm glad I'm not the only one here who possess the power of critical thinking and not wanting to support bad actions simply because they're bad actions regardless of who's expense they're at. I thought I was losing my mind for a moment the way the mob pounced on me for trying to be the voice of reason. Some real quality upstanding citizens here that makes you wonder why anyone wouldn't want to be associated with them.

The 1st Amendment is about protecting your right to speak out against your government without the fear of persecution. It's not about protecting the ability to be a blatant bigot demeaning groups of people for the color of their skin lightly cloaked in political agenda to gain the support of a bunch of room temperature IQ Republicans who'll flock to anything that seems to degrade the left without applying even a modicum of critical thinking.
