    Default Goodbye Colorado !!!!

Sitting at DIA waiting to board my final flight. Finally moving to my son's in Maine. No regrets in leaving !!! It was time for me. Loved Colorado when I moved there 45 years ago but the attraction has faded slowly over the years and accelerated the last 10. So I bid farewell to the state and wish you all the best. Staglefty

Good luck on this new chapter in your life. It was a pleasure knowing you, if only from your forum posts. Godspeed.

Good luck and hope all goes well. If my sons/grandkids were not here I too would leave when I retire next year.

Good luck, glad to hear you will be enjoying family.

You're of course always welcome, the site is practically half expat anyway.

Enjoy your next chapter. Some of us might be a teeny bit envious. Let us know how you like it, I'm sure others are looking.

That's the position the bride and I are in. I wasn't planning to retire for 3 more years, but due to the environment (toxic) at work over the last couple of years, I plan to retire early next year. Because my kids and grandkids are here, we are unwilling to relocate. Now, if I can find a way to get them to join us someplace else, we'll move in a heartbeat. Colorado is no longer the state I fell in love with as a child.

What FoxArt said! Last I heard, Maine had the internet and we've always appreciated your participation here so we'd love it if you wouldn't disappear on us!

enjoy the NE coast. Completely understand how you feel. By the time year 30 came around we started looking where to move. That's then the garage sales & downsizing began, right up till the month before we said adios. Miss all the friends and family we made over the years, do not miss the politics, crowds & traffic.
