    Default Arson

In Colorado, a person can use deadly force to defend themselves or another person from first-degree arson. This is outlined in Colorado Revised Statutes (CRS) 18-1-704 through 18-1-706.

I too made the assumption that this was a natural fire, probably from a smoldering lighting strike on a tree. From the maps, the initiation location appeared to be a remote and inaccessible area. Now we know differently. The guy seems to be a true schmuck and worthy of full legal and civil prosecution. However, I will give him credit for "Twin Buttes Fire Protection"- the perfect name for a fake rural fire department.

that is the link for a serial arsonist in California.

I thought I remember the Coal Creek Canyon or close firefighter/chief starting fires in the 1980s. Was always johnny on the spot to put them out. Except one finally got away from him and he got caught. Anyone remember details?
