    Default I'm not THAT stupid...

    Selling a Yamaha FJR.

Victor Anderson, who just joined Facebook is very interested. Looking up his picture with Google Lens shows Victor is very handsome and must be a model since that picture is used a lot of different places.

    He wants to meet tomorrow!

He doesn't haggle or negotiate- he doesn't need to.

This is great! Except he wants me to go to a website that is about a month old to buy a VIN report.

He does it for every vehicle he sells, so I should too. He even says he will pay me back the $45 for the report tomorrow when he picks up the bike.

Well... okay. Sounds like a no-lose deal for me. Do you want my checking account info or just my Social Security number, pal?

I can't believe anyone falls for this bullshit. I guess they do since every time I sell something I get the same inquiries.

It seems like a lot of work, buying and setting up the website, then replying to every ad posted, hoping to get $45.

Maybe in whatever strange foreign land Victor lives, $45 is worth it.

What is the website's registrar? You might be able to get everything he has setup with them, shutdown....

Trust me it very worthwhile for them even if they only scam one person all year long. My mother in law is not the brightest, we originally thought she got scamed oyt of 160,000$ but we just recently found out that it was for 242,000$, fucked her royally. Now she get to stay working for the rest of her life.

Sounds familiar. My mother in law lost quite a bit too. She’s 100% military disabled so she has an income, but we paid her mortgage and food bills for a month after it happened, She lost all of her savings,
