Mikey Rourke 'surrendered' a shotgun that was registered to him to police after posting a comment about a GoFundMe account set up for him. While there is a big difference between surrendering a firearm or confiscating one, the bottom line is they came after it because they knew he had it.

A few old friends knew him personally.

Super nice guy.

Always been a bit messed up in the head.

The reason his face is so messed up was while healing from plastic surgery he decided to start going to a boxing gym.

He is a series of poor life choices. Not the first time he's been broke either.

Really loved his film, "A Prayer for the Dying."

That really was a good movie, probably close to his real persona. I heard someone mention that "Barfly" was a good one too.

I liked the characters he played, always gritty and troubled. As mentioned before, Plastic Surgery and Boxing do not mix.
