    Default CO election shenanigans

Election security?..Colorado is the “gold standard”….. the fuckery continues.
And to think- Tina Peters is serving 9 years for allowing an outside party access to Mesa County’s voting machines to investigate “irregularities” but the Secretary of State’s office published hundreds of passwords to the voting machines for 53 of 54 counties in Colorado.
Jena Griswold needs to be drug out of office by the hair.

DENVER ? The Colorado Secretary of State’s Office inadvertently posted a spreadsheet to its website with a hidden tab that included voting system passwords.

In a statement to 9NEWS, a spokesperson for the Colorado Secretary of State?s Office said that ?the Department is working to remedy this situation where necessary. The passwords that were in the hidden tab are known as BIOS passwords and are one part of the security process for Colorado’s voting machines.
The passwords that were in the hidden tab are known as BIOS passwords and are one part of the security process for Colorado’s voting machines. They are passwords needed to configure system settings.

0700 Edit to add- Apparently the spreadsheet with the passwords has been on the SOS's public .co.gov website since August.

Tina was found guilty in a conservative county, and correctly so. She was a manipulating sociopath, she did not "allow an outside party access to Mesa County's voting machines.....". That's kind of like saying Epstein professionally tutored young women in career possibilities.

Fuck that bitch. 9 years may be mildly excessive, I'd think 4-5 is more appropriate, but yes, she absolutely deserved to be convicted, and this was not in a liberal part of the state by any accord.

As for this, yes it's BS, but in IT, a "bios password" is not high in my worries. If Tina let additional "outside parties access to the voting machines" again, and they disassembled them, they could do something like mount a USB and play doom on the voting machine. But the bios password != any encryption or the OS., and is ordinarily not going to be something that is accessible from external hacking.

I don't think it's anything more than a fuckup. Which as you know gov, is more common than quality worksmanship.

    .

    A Fuck up huh?
Oh yeah- just like sending 30,000 ballots out to non citizens in 2022 was a “fuck up”.

Im sure that her office had nothing to do with Trump being arbitrarily and capriciously removed from the Colorado ballot either.

Her office is far beyond a “fuck up”.
At the very least her office is strife with egregious incompetence and at the worst, criminally complicit in voting interference.

Either way she owns it 100%

As much as I loathe 9 News and Kyle Clark this is worth the watch:

Again, if you were going to intentionally try to leak something useful so that things could be compromised...

This is not how you would do it. This is useless. Not arguing other points, just stating this instance does not appear to be a conspiracy, and 100%, appears to be a typical daily fuckup by gov employees.

Ya'll have WAY to much faith in government workers. If you want to say CIA rigged something, fine. If you want to say Deborah, Steve, and Karen in accounting at a typical gov office rigged something, they honestly should be issued velcro shoes because they can't be trusted to accurately buy or even tie their own shoes.... The more gov employees you add to the cereal to support the conspiracy the more unlikely it becomes to the point of absurdity.

The data was unlawfully analyzed AFTER the election with no bearing upon the official results.

9 years is excessive, seemingly "arbitrary and capricious" as "an example to others" insisting upon extralegal measures to attempt oversight. That is clear grounds for an appeal. A felony conviction, 2 years (with opportunity for parole), ankle monitor, and probation likely would not have even been questioned, as she knew she was violating the law.

Here is an interesting question to pose (that I still have the 100% evidence of).

My kid was sent a ballot to vote. That doesnt seem too bad. But my kid was 17. But since my kid had a drivers license with Colorado "motor voter law" a ballot was mailed out. Ironically it was for a tax increase). Is there a coincidence that kids (who generally vote for tax increases) was sent a ballot?

But Colorado is the "gold standard" and has great "election security"

And Tina is sitting in jail. Why aren't others who are sending out illegal ballots?

Except, it's not useless; at least not most of the time.

I've entered the BIOS on hundreds (if not thousands) of .gov systems (official authorized duties). While I don't know what OS or any other info on the Dominion Voting systems, I can tell you that accessing BIOS on most systems can allow you to change the local Administrative login password (yeah, I do this). If the local admin account username hasn't been changed to something unguessable a Save and Restart brings you 1 step away from logging in with full admin rights.

Maybe most people would never be able to take advantage of this screw up. Maybe this was just a serious mistake. But maybe, just maybe it is possible that this is part of a larger conspiracy with organized insider threats - we'll never know. Either way, the CO SoS needs to be held accountable to the same standard she's held others with opposing political beliefs to.

In the Kyle Clark interview the CO Sec of State admitted her office delayed informing County Clerks and they almost didn't tell the public (probably felt compelled to get ahead of it as it was likely already leaked).

Bert may not care for Kyle Clark (this was the first I'd heard of him), but he did call her out on the repeated "mistakes" her office is responsible for which usually seem to provide the Left with better outcomes than the Right. Isn't that curious?

ETA: It's become apparent that those on the Left don't care at all if the public (legal voters) have any confidence remaining in the election process, so long as they maintain control.

In fact, I have no faith in government workers. I can see each and everyone of them ignoring the need to secure the voting machine and allowing it to log itself in as soon as the OS boots up.
I was watching Kill Chain the other day, and seeing the voting machines boot up using Win98 was shocking. Several of those machines were still in use across the US when the film was released in 2020.

You and I don't have the resources to go and investigate this, but it surely damages our faith in the election process.

I'm planning to vote at the last minute, to try and minimize any possible interference with my vote, but now, the counting process itself is likely broken, or vulnerable.
