Default Anyone here ever done a juice diet?

I started Monday and lost 3.8lbs within 24hrs. After 5 days I'm down over 11lbs. The plan is to do this for 60 days and the hope is to trim 60lbs within that time-frame. Once I'm finished I will do a complete overhaul of my diet in order to get healthier. I've watched a lot of videos and done a lot of research and so far this has been fantastic for me. I haven't been as hungry as I thought I would be and being in Ketosis has just melted the fat off. My shorts/pants fit better already and I'm one notch tighter on my belt and it's loose. I started at 290.8lbs and am already into the 270's after barely 5 days of taking nothing but juice and water in. My activity has been limited since I started and I'm not sure if this is why some complain of headaches and other side effects. I don't get headaches so if I start to get them while on this diet I guess we know what caused them. So far it's been fine though and the first few days seemed to be the hardest as far was food cravings go. In all, I feel great and it's not as bad as I was expecting based on what others had said.

So, who else is currently doing or has done a juice diet? Curious what results others had.

Not yet. The juicers I'm interested in start at $300 so it was an investment I wasn't going to make until I was sure it was going to get used. It's also more expensive to make your juice that way even factoring out the cost of the machine itself. Instead, what I've been doing is buying Bolthouse Farms juices and using those instead. They taste good and are packed with vitamins and such plus flash pasteurized which is a good thing. I've read they're not no-GMO but at this point that's not a huge concern of mine but if it is one of yours it's something you may want to consider. Some recommend Naked juice but I prefer the taste and flavors of the Bolthouse Farms better and to me staying with this diet is more important than saving GMO's and possibly falling off of the diet because I can't stand the juice after a few days.

Loosing 60lbs in 60 days while it sounds great is not healthy at all.

Yeah not too good on the body and if you Dont do it right I would imagine you will gain back what you lost plus some since the body is feeling deprived and wanting to get back to where it was comfortable.

60lbs in 60 days is not healthy at all. When I was in the military I lost 18lbs in a month and even after that I felt like crap but I was running and lifting most every day.

A healthy pace to lose weight is usually 2lbs/week. And also remember it's healthier to exercise and go on a diet too instead of just running a calorie deficit by starving yourself. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/fas...t-loss/AN01621
