Topless hippy girls on CU campus in 1970 (first in person bare breast I ever saw, even shocked my dad)
Wyoming age 19 alcohol- quick trip to load up from FOCO
CSU College Days- a week of no class, 3.2 beer, free concerts (Red Hot Chili Peppers- front row), bikinis, parties everywhere. Tradition til asshole students rioted twice. Fools.
A $20 Vail lift ticket in May: only the top lifts open, everyone wearing swim suits, pools of water to ski into at the bases, bad sun burns (no sunscreen invented yet).
No traffic: 20 min from FOCO to Greeley and 40 min from FOCO to Northglenn mall (Furrs for pigging out).
Sid Kings: ran a couple calls there. Normally, I was too young to go in but a medic uniform and a stretcher opens doors. Nice girls there. It closed just before I was legal.
Ricardo Montalban on TV doing Casa Bonita commercials. Only got to go there on special occasions like birthdays or good grades.

Drive up Boulder Canyon from town on a warm spring or summer day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mucho young ladies in barely there outfits sunning on the rocks by the river and in the river. It's distracting as a fly fisherman. A great distraction!!!!! No so much hippies anymore, but rather quite great looking trust fund princesses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first Space Shuttle that crossed from California to Florida made frequent publicity stops. One was at Stapleton. They parked it in that SW area. I think it stayed over night. I drove down from Greeley to see it. About 1981.

Larimer Street area Pawnshops in 1969-70. My brother and I convinced our Mom into dragging us down there a few times when we first moved to Denver and too young to drive.

Unreal bargains back then but a scary place. Good ole Mom!

Shooting at the range in Old Town Arvada. Shooting at the REAL Golden Gun Club at Table Mountain. Watching fireworks from the top of North Table Mountain. Shooting near the old cemetery above Central City. Driving the "oh my god" road to central city and go to the t-shirts and rock shops.

My Dad used to pheasant hunt in bear valley before it was homes.
