Future Ft. Carson Range!

Just thought I would let everyone know that a Skeet/Trap range is going to be coming to Ft Carson. I think there might be a rifle and pistol range as well. The best part is that it will be open to the public and located outside post near I25 near gate 20!!! No registering weapons on post because you will not have to enter post! No Range 1 BS if you have heard of that range.
I will post more info about it when I hear more but it will be built over top of the bayonet course you can see from the Interstate.

The rifle and pistol range has been there for years. It was shut down after 9/11. Back in the day ya just needed a range card and open it up. Member jc121 won the last competition for "Kit Carson Week" there.

It used to be nice to take a 4 mile drive across post to go shoot but the ragheads changed all that. And the trophy is in the display case at the Hospital......
