    Default Sig 250?

I have never owned a Sig so I have a couple questions for someone familiar with this model please. I am trying to sell my Glock 23 to try something different and I really like these, just want some info before I plop some money down. Thanks.

I found a 250 compact in digi camo for sale online that says it ships with holster and mag pouch, do all these or is that a special?

How come these are cheaper then say a 226?

    Are they worth the money?

EDIT: after researching it appears the trigger is terrible and they are very unreliable? Thats to bad I really like the digi camo and I cant find anything else I like in camo.

    Polymer make's 'em cheap.

Since they're so cheap for a Sig, you may just want to give one a try at a store and see if the trigger works for you.

Personally, I like the Sig Pro 2022 much better, but they're starting to get hard to find.

Thanks, ya I researched the 2022 and I guess they have a contract with the Army till 2022 so maybe thats why they are hard to find now?

Well that's one of the big questions. They were created in the first place for the police contracts, but they proved very popular with civilians too. Then Sig came out with the 250 as the "replacement" even though it is really a different gun. From what I understand, people just weren't buying the 250 though, until Sig started discontinuing civilian sales of the 2022.

I put the Sig pro 2022 on layaway today. $499 with night sites, 3 mags, I thought that was pretty good, it was the last one Sportsmans wharehouse in Loveland had. Now I have to get my Glock 23 sold! I hope I'm not makeing a mistake as far as reliability. I have never had a malfunction of any kind in the 7 Glocks I have owned, but the pro felt good in my hand?

I bought mine used, probably had almost a thousand rounds through it. I gave it a thorough breakdown and cleaning, and it's been a beauty for me.

Also, after you put a few thousand rounds through it, the cost to send it back to Sig for a refurb is like 200 bucks with shipping. That includes new night sights.

But it's a shooter not a safe queen, so I think you'll really be able to use the hell outta the thing.

I have not been the least impressed with them.
Cheap and cheesy feeling and that is so not SIG.
I dont think that SIG did themselves any favors with the 250 series.
I see at least a half dozen 226/9 series pistols go to every 250 series pistol that sells.
Now if SIG could produce a polymer framed pistol on par with HK then they would be on to something.....
Until then though my thoughts are that the 250's wont be the answer for SIG on tupperware.

Here it is, I hope I made th right choice getting this SIG over a Glock 19. 3 mags and night sights for the price was pretty good. After cleaning it and playing with it a bit I found I like the DA trigger but really hate the SA. The SA seems way to short, maybe I will have to get the larger grip to make it feel better, and I definitley dont need the "short" trigger. I am gonna go shoot it here in a bit and hope for the best.

Just got home from Front Range gun club, very nice facility. I cant decide if I like the SIG or not? I like the short trigger rest and its very smooth, almost no felt recoil. Very accurate out to 25yds, if I can get used to the short trigger pull I will have it made! I definitley need the larger grip I think. I put 100rds through it, I had 3 FTF's in the first 50 rds, no FTE's, after 40-50 rds it really smoothed out and ran good. After shooting .40 and 357 sig for a while 9mm is like shooting 22's. I am gonna have to shoot some more, but not sure at this point, maybe I should have bought the Glock 19?
