    Default Tool marks

Old Remington 700 barrel in .223. Was told less than 1000 rods through it. These are just tool marks correct? They?re pretty evident all the way through the bore. Rifle shoots well, just needs a good cleaning.

    Chatter from the broach/cutter.
When you say it shoots well how is the grouping?
Is it shooting to point of aim?

It shoots pretty much MOA consistently with no shift when it heats up.

    Yup. Just tool marks.

If it shoots well, dont sweat it.
