More laws are never a good idea, regardless of the desired outcome.

What would it take to make this proposal a reality? Would it be someone who self identifies? Someone who has had surgery or changed their pronouns on their drivers license? How would you document that? If you are thinking about line G- "adjudicated as a mental defective", that opens door wide for all sort of conditions to be thrown in there, like owning too many guns or visiting a certain firearm related forum.

There is an article today of him denouncing his "transition ". So then what category does he fall into? Single white male? If you start limiting purchases on them, you have just fallen into the leftist trap.

This kid needed help long before he purchased firearms. Instead of encouraging mental illness, healthcare professionals should have been treating him for it.

I wouldn't think most parochial schools would cater to gender confusion coddling the way that public schools do. Kids have enough social struggles growing up, they don't need some Psycho-babbling shrink to interpret that their problems are all related to them not being born with the right genitalia, like the Colorado Board of Education does. With that in mind, I'm guessing that the mother of this creep must have seen that he was taking the wrong path, especially if she was Christian. Lots of questions left. Any siblings? Father figure? Friends?
