    Default Rebuild a retaining wall

I have a retaining wall that has collapsed. Do we have a member or a referral that can rebuild it?
    Thanks!

Outdoor landscaping, or basement? (I don't know anyone for the job, but could use some input as well.)

It's an outside retaining wall. About 50 ft long, 4 to 5 ft high block. I stacked all the blocks up and saved the capstones.

Retaining walls over 4 feet generally require permits in most places. Rebuilding it with the same blocks though, if it had an original permit, I'd think you're in good shape.

If it failed, to keep it from happening again, you should integrate the following:
    1) A drain pipe in the bottom, sloped to an exit. Also make sure there is at least some gravel immediately behind each block to facilitate drainage down to that pipe.
    2) Integrate geogrid this time. Basically imagine plastic construction fence that you lay flat and glue to the blocks every few layers and then compact the soil behind. Makes the wall a combined retaining wall + sort of rammed earth in a way, won't ever fail.

You can get appropriate geogrid at a versablock manufacturer or order online. Apply with appropriate block adhesive.

I'm not a company, just done a lot with retaining walls in the past - including ones much larger than 4'.
