    Welcome Jester.

Not too familiar with Golden or anything in the area.

Sadly, I mostly hibernate indoors during the winter months which gives me time to work on my reloading and catch up on movies.

Consider getting into the organized competitive shoots that this site advertises. It's a great way to meet new folks and keep yourself busy.

I grew up in Golden. You go to Denver for fun.

You should go do the Coors brewery tour. Go inside, tell the person at the desk that you'd like to do the short tour, they'll point you to the elevator, you ride it up to the bar and get your 3 free 10oz samples of freshly brewed beer. Cost is nothing, and you don't even have to look at the brewery! Coming up in a few months is E-days at the school of Mines. Make sure you at least hit up their fireworks show. Every year I've gone something has caught on fire. Make sure to get there early so you get good seats.

E-days stands for Engineer Days and is basically a festival for the college. Just look it up online and find the calendar date for the fireworks show.
