This is actually the name of the game with high-end and super high-end 22lr. You're paying for the QC & consistency. Add in "lot testing" of high-end 22 ammo and the rabbit hole deepens further. I would test a few varieties to see which your gun likes, then stock up. SK is stuff pretty good for the price. I have had great luck with SK Red and Pistol Match (Green box and slower). If I can get groups about the size of a dime at 50y and a quarter at 100y, I am happy.

FYI: Many of the 22lr ammo varieties are the exact same, but tested better or worse. Lapua CenterX vs Xact vs Midas for example.

Ammo could be the difference in a 1st place and 10th place finish in some disciplines. An extreme example, would be a gold vs silver medal.

Almost all of it unless it's specifically marked otherwise (biathlon/semi/etc). Many have velocities listed on the box or website. Most are 1020-1080fps +/-. It's all we ever use for matches.
