Yup...same asshole different place. On all CO-based board I run under CeBeU, most national/international forums I use cunroe. Headin' into my fourth decade in the "e-world," I've been around. I have one other username out there on "less-than-common" forums (and no, not porn or trivial shit) but I maintain discretion with that one. Of course, my style is what it is so I'm not hard to pick-up if you put your mind to it.

BTW - I've only posted that pic one other time, the Beretta forum maybe? 1911forum? Don't recall.

Sorry to go off topic. I just copied your sig and put it into Google. It brought up a bunch of your other posts. It was the 1911 forum that I got the name from. I got it all figured out though. Thanks and carry on.

I'll have to check that book out.

Yup. I stood in the building that Cebeu posted the picture of in the Joint Security Area (JSA) and have been inches - face to face with DPRK Guards. There and at the Camps/Guard Posts on the South side the tension was palpatable - it felt like you could literally cut it with a knife.

Oh, the strories of all of the propaganda (from both sides) that happens up there is hilarious.

Anyone know if the North is still putting up the farce of Propaganda Village?

I think I've shared this before.....

another buddy of mine was active duty army in korea. they were training in the field when 9/11 happened.

he said the unit got pulled into a tent and shown footage of the attacks. then the soldiers with ties to NY went out one way to contact their loved ones, everyone else went to the armory. They were issued live ammo and sent back out on high alert.

if lil kim had so much as twitched he would have been dead meat.

In my lifetime, I 've heard 1,000,000,000s of time that:
"if Kim Il-Sung dies, both North and South can unite"

Yeah right....Crazier Kim Jung-Il took over and made it worse for DPRK and neighboring countries.

I used to play tabletop wargames (Avalon Hill and the like, had too many to ship when I moved to the US so I had to sell the all ) and in the designer's notes section of the speculative war in Korea one that I had, it quoted someone who'd served in Korea as saying the US Army is there as much to protect the South from the North as it is to stop the South from having a go at invading the North.

Obviously I have no idea if this is true or not but it was something that struck me as interesting.

Of course, if they ever did, I'm sure the Dear Leader would take a few moments from shooting 18-stroke rounds of golf and composing the best operas ever to repel them single handed.
