    Default DPRK Posturing...yes...again...

I reference multiple international news sources on a daily basis, forcing myself to garner the pulse of the world with a non US bias as time allows, including a pretty consistent review of the DPRKs online English edition. As an aside; "What a s***** example of web media projection from a country that prides itself in image and posturing." In any event, I stay close to these nut-bags in particular for reasons that are important only to me. I found the January 24th’s offerings to be rather humorous as it’s obviously "piss on the South a little more this week, more than the usual."

Seven (7) articles from Jan 24th, and only 15 references to "puppet," I'm shocked. – LOL

    Net- This current “flurry” of North Korean diatribe will flow all week I presume and stems from lasts weeks public declaration from the South basically giving them the finger. I find that fact interesting (and funny) because “in the old days” South Korea maintained a reasonably discreet posture internationally and specifically with intra-peninsula relations but or the past few years and last week they are basically now just saying “f*** you little Kim.” The end result, the same “poop response” from the DPRK as one would expect, here’s a sampling and man, if I only had a nickel for everytime I've heard this s*** over the years;

CPRK Blasts S. Korean Conservatives' Anti-DPRK Racket

Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- A spokesman of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea Saturday released a statement condemning the south Korean conservative forces for pushing the inter-Korean relations to an extreme phase of confrontation by kicking up a crazy anti-DPRK racket quite contrary to the desire of the fellow countrymen for national concord and reunification and the trend of the times.

Charging that the "Ministry of Unification", the "National Intelligence Service", the "Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade", the "Defense Ministry" and other authorities related to the DPRK and war maniacs of south Korea are now kicking up a noisy anti-DPRK campaign and laying bare their scenario for a war of aggression on the north and confrontation of different systems, colluding with one another, the statement said:

When it was brought to daylight recently that the south Korean puppet authorities worked out in secrecy an "emergency ruling plan", an extremely provocative scenario for invasion of the north allegedly to cope with what they called "emergency", the army and people of the DPRK solemnly clarified the steadfast will never to pardon those who hurt the dignity and system of the DPRK even in the least and strongly demanded an apology for such criminal deed, cancellation of the conspiratorial scenario and punishment of those chiefly responsible for it.

This notwithstanding, the conservative group of south Korea responded to this demand with a graver provocation, far from making an apology. This clearly proves that they are hell-bent only on escalating the confrontation with fellow countrymen, utterly indifferent to the north-south relations.

A whole string of stupid jargons about "preemptive attack" on somebody and "emergency" let loose by the puppet clique is no more than a cheap artifice to bar the public at home and abroad from focusing its attention on the stirring reality of the DPRK making a leaping advance towards a thriving nation under the great banner of Songun, hamstring the process for improving the inter-Korean relations and weather its domestic crisis.

The boss of the puppet military warmongers took the lead in crying out for a "preemptive attack" on the DPRK and the authorities and "state policy" research institutions disclosed various kinds of scenarios for invasion of the north simulating an "emergency". This itself is a declaration of a war against the DPRK.

The DPRK sets store by the north-south relations but if the south Korean conservative authorities finally opt for confrontation and war, it will unhesitatingly take strong counter-measures against them and demonstrate the merciless mode of retaliation, sweep away the traitors opposed to reunification from this land and accomplish the sacred cause of national reunification, the cherished desire of the nation, without fail.

Puppet Minister of Defense Kim Thae Yong, Minister of Unification Hyon In Thaek, Director of the NIS Won Se Hun and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Ryu Myong Hwan of south Korea have gone mad with confrontation with compatriots and brought dark clouds of a war to hang over the land, selling off the interests of the nation to foreign forces. They will never be able to escape curses and punishment by history and the nation for being "four traitors of 2010" just as the "five traitors of 1905" were put to disgrace and curse by the successive generations for selling off the country more than a century ago.

The DPRK will mercilessly punish anyone who behaves recklessly, daring challenge its supreme dignity and system.

I've always loved reading the totally insane propaganda that North Korea spits out. It's always good for a laugh. Sadly, those folks expect the rest of the world to believe that stuff.

Read the book Tears of My Seoul; by Kim, Hyun He. Many in North Korea believe this stuff as they receive no other view points or information.

BTW, North and South Korea are still technically at war, but in armistice.

What is the life expectancy of the South Korean guards guarding the border if North Korea decides to declare war again? Isn't it something like 6 minutes?

Something like that, but I filed that info in my "bla bla bla" folder right next to the BS folder. NK doesn't have the supply support to maintain an excursion for any length of time, there would be massive surrenders and defections from NK troops, and be fought as a typical battlefield war. It wouldn't last a month and midget boy Kim knows it.

As I was typing that, I was wondering aloud how long 1 million ground troops carrying plows and axes would last against a few thousand guys with guns. North Korea is interesting as it seems like they have rice farmers...and nukes. Nice combination Kimmy.

As a side note, I have a ton of different Mii characters on my Nintendo Wii that I got off line. Kim Jong Ill is by far my favorite. Everyone else looks weird crammed into the Mii body type, but it is perfect for Kim Jong. Looks like this:

~20min for Seoul to get bombed by DPRK Airforce.

I worked with a guy who was in the air force, spent years in korea. he said that there is not a thing that happens in north korea that we don't know about, and we have them right under our thumb. he scoffed at the idea that they are a threat.

ROK Marines are some of the best I ever had the privilege of serving with, exceptional soldiers. Talk about life in the hard-bed; try that shit on for life-style.

Here's a couple of the DPRK's finest checking me out in the mid 80's. A pic of a pic, no digi back in those days of course (at the JSA, a "tourist zone" when talks were not in progress). I have no pics of real life on the “Z,” cameras were not an option.
