This thread is killing me. In a place where dogs aren't an option. Too busy to give them the attention they deserve. Been a herding/snow dog fan. Pics are great and keep them coming. Living vicariously through them.Click image for larger version.

Drives Mrs bo nuts, Reba wants to be outside most of the time(especially if wind blowing, it brings the hated tumbleweeds which she attacks) regardless of conditions. She loves the snow and shoveling snow, waits for me to throw shovel full of snow and then jumps at snow while flies through the air. Makes shoveling snow a major PIA as sometimes she crowds me and difficult to avoid whacking her with shovel. If made to stay inside whils shoveling she will run from door to door or door to window raising hell to go help.

During thunder storms she will stand in middle of yard and bark her "warning" bark at the thunder and run toward the direction thunder came from. Of course she gets soaked by the rain and doesn't care, much to the chagrin of Mrs bo.

    Default Love them dogs

I thought it was just my GSD with the shoveling. He growls at and tries to bite the shovel, and then jumps in the air to attack the snow I?m throwing. Was some heavy wet stuff. Heavy enough to knock him backwards on one throw and it didn?t deter him. I have to put him in the house if I want to do it in 1/3 the time. I?m afraid of cutting him with the steel edge of the shovel.

During thunderstorms, he would run out the dog door and bark at the sky when the thunder was loud.

    That cracks me up.

If I break rhythm shoveling she will scold me and charge in to attack the shovel. I sweep the deck to avoid damaging it, she will bark and attack the broom after I finish and lean broom against wall. Like she is telling the broom to get back to work or come out to play. I find the broom laying in the middle of the yard if I wait too long to clear the deck.

Man, that is so familiar. We have determined that he doesn?t like anything that is a ?stick?. Shovels, brooms, mops, the vacuum. He also goes after the leaf blower.
