Took our pup to the vet dentist on Tues. He's got some discoloration of his molars. Not sure if anything will need to be done to address it, but they want X-rays to keep an eye on it.

    He's 6.5 months and a solid 72lbs.

Nice pups! Love the markings on the GSD.

I don't know what it is about the GSDs I've had in my life, but they're so damn smart. I'm amazed daily at the vocabulary that our pup is learning to understand. Out of a wad of toys we're able to tell him which one we want and he grabs it and brings it to us. He's also really good at picking up on our regular behaviors and how to anticipate where he needs to be and respond.

Just need to get him past the 'puppy brain' moments when meeting other people and dogs. More socialization is the plan to help with that.

So Reba got the bandage removed last Thursday but dad made her wear the Elizabethan collar until yesterday morning. Wanted to protect wound site and let leg/skin acclimate and hair grow back a little more. Other than cleaning/grooming she has left wound site alone and I can barely see where incision was.

Good report from surgeon and vet, another couple weeks of lite duty then can slowly bring back activities over following couple weeks.
