Nope. Still stinks. She decided she needs to lay in my lap and my nose is burning.

Next step is either the dishwasher or clothes washer, not sure which...

Our doggo ended up with aspiration pneumonia. Hasn't gone away with weeks of antibiotics. He's scheduled to go in next week so they can knock him out and do some form of pulmonary lavage on him and culture whatever is resisting the antibiotics. That damn dog is so expensive.

But he's in advanced obedience training and doing well with an E-collar...and we love him.

    Update- Pop still stinks.

My eyes stopped watering but she still smells like the bag of lawn clippings that you forgot to set out last week.

I went into the bathroom with the tub I used to bathe her and it smells horrible in there as well.

Next step is shave her bald and scrub her skin with a wire brush and some ammonia. Or, let her lay on the couch all day. Still trying to decide.

Try the recipe to get rid of skunk smell.

    1/4 cup of baking soda.
1-2 teaspoons of mild dishwashing detergent like Ivory Snow.
1 quart of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide solution.
Mix in a bucket and use immediately.
Work the foaming mixture well into the coat.
    Leave on for five minutes.
    Rinse with warm water.
Follow with dog shampoo if desired.

Sportsman?s sells a skunk remover shampoo. Maybe that would clean up the smell

Just thought I'd post up, here's my boy Kaiba, just got back from a wellness check on Thursday and he has Pannus.
Pannus is an Immune System reaction to UV light as I understand it. I find this so weird as my boy is a house dog, we go out and get our excercise but he lives inside with the rest of the family. Anyway, drops twice a day now and UV glasses if we don't want a blind dog later in his life.
I did some research thanks to this thread and will be getting a pair of the RexSpecks, they seem to be well thought of. If there's a better option I've missed, I'd like to hear about it.

Great picture! I have never heard of that ailment before, it sounds manageable, it would be great if he got into wearing the goggles!

Make sure to share some pics of him with the specs!

Well Ziva developed a lump on her upper right jaw virtually overnight. Last week she had a biopsy, waiting on the results. The canine dentist told me that while she was under anesthesia they thought they detected another lump on her spleen. Taking her in next week for an ultrasound on that. She's been a great addition to the family the past 11 years (she was roughly 1 when I got her). Right now her behaviour is completely normal, great appetite and her regular fun playful self. Hoping she's still got some good time left with us, depends on what the biopsy and ultrasound show.

Here she is the day I brought her home

With her little buddy Burgie (he's not quite 2, belongs to my son and his wife)

This was yesterday on our way for coffee and a pup cup-her favorite lol, she also loves riding in the truck
