Heading home from the range, picked up a skinny collarless red heeler stray. She hopped right in my range truck, finished off my water, let me put a ragged collar on her. Took her to my vet and she said, looks healthy and no chip. Posted online, no owner response. So we added another dog to the crew. But wait, there is more, two weeks ago, she blessed us with eight pups! Meet Yoda.

Looks like Ziva is headed for surgery on the 13th providing no changes. Had a pretty emotional meeting with the surgeon but she's just such an amazing dog I can't sit by and roll the dice to see if her spleen ruptures/leaks/etc which could be quickly fatal or a slow and agonizing. She's still acting totally normal thankfully, no signs of lethargy (the main sign of problems) and loved being out in this morning's snow.

Not a great pic as she's pretty well backlit but trust me, she was having fun eating the snowballs I tossed to her.
