changing barrel and or upper

If I change my barrel do I need to also change the BCG, next option if I change the barrel and the upper do I need to change the BCG. Thanks for any advice.

If there's nothing wrong with the bcg then no, and no.

In most cases, no, but you will need to headspace in both cases.

Thanks I've read about the BCG seating to the barrel??? this rifle has around 1500 to 2000 down the tube, just concerned.
