I understand, but there is something to be said for sympathy, much of which is somewhat lost on the current generation.

If a person is acting like that, it's symptomatic of deeper issues that person has in their life...

No-one has ever gotten better by being "put in their place".

Kindness is the quickest way to provoke change.

Granted, some people just don't get it, or don't want it.

In that case, I would advise ignoring them.

Unless you're fighting a war, I'd always advise against the "hand of justice" mentality.

That's just me though, but I'll tell you that philosophy has provided me with a long, incredibly blessed life.
