Default Body found in landing gear of Jet

Did anyone see the article on Fox about the idiot who stowed away in the gear of a 777 going from New York to Tokyo??? What the hell are these idiots thinking? Another Darwin Award winner! Let's see, just off the top of my head - hypoxia from altitude, hypothermia from the temperature at around 40k feet, and he was wearing a long sleeve shirt and pants! Plus, if anyone's seen the gear compartment of most any jet with the gear IN IT, there usually isn't much room left over.

Next thing you know, OSHA will require that all aircraft have kill switches on the landing gear. Pretty soon there won't be any way to kill off the stupid ones!

Do they know exactly what killed him yet? And have they researched how he got out there?

They "suspect" hypothermia, as they observed frostbite. (Probably frozen halfway solid, -60 for 12 or so hours.) As to how he got there, "All we know is that he must have sneaked in just before departure, because it is impossible for him to enter the storage during flight," according to a Japanese police official.

Well, I hope he had his seat in the upright position, his tray table up, and didn't have anything on his lap for the last hour of the flight.

I'm with Irving on this (?? Did I just say that??)

How did the guy get to the outside of the place to get into the landing gear compartment in the first place? Must have been avoiding the TSA security checkpoint.

<insert sarcasm> No, we all know that there is no possibility of that! <end sarcasm>

Unless he was an airline/airport worker, they've got a few things to figure out!

Wouldn't this be "strike three" for Obama's airline initiative? (not that anyone outside of Rush Limbaugh will call him on it.0

Well if you can sneak a body in there, you can just as easily sneak a few pounds of C4 in there as well.

So really what the hell is the point of making me throw away my bottled water and take my shoes off before I get on?

    It's the thumb.

    The thumb controls all.

With the thumb on us, all is under control.

(Or at least we're under control.)
