    Default Still use Pay Pal?

I know they are anti gun. But does that stop you guys from using them? I boycotted them since learning this info but.......I would like to use them for ebay purchases. Have anyone else stopped using their services due to their stance or do you just look past that for secure purchasing on ebay type sites?

I opened a Gunpal acct, and ask if that would be ok to use..
I still HAVE a paypal acct, but if somebody wants to send me money, I'll ask that they use gunpal instead..

I try to avoid Ebay, especially since they started to REQUIRE that sellers use paypal... was just starting to feel like a racket, now it reeks... but I've got some stuff that would likely only sell with an audience that large... >sigh<

It is really hard to do anything on eBay without paypa1.
    I actively sell/buy on ebay, so I need Paypa1.

    Just make it discreet.

you CAN do this, but I prefer just to use Gunpal instead- there's no sneaking, and your $$ is going to an organization that SUPPORTS the 2nd amendment

it's free to sign up for Gunpal, it's easy to use, and the fees are about the same.. they will donate a portion of their profits to an organization of your choosing (from a list) at no extra cost.

    www.gunpal.net

so now I make it a habit to ask if they'll take Gunpal first, and when asked how I'd like payment, I suggest gunpal first (even if it's not firearm related)

I'm not selling. Buying rather. I got denied on any alternatives other than MO from USPS and Paypal. I think I'll just stick to my guns and never use Paypal due to their policies. There loss not mine. I do see that if you ask about alt payments some people will allow CC, just off line so to speak.

I found that my bank credit card will not work with Paypal, when I called them they said that they have to many issues, paypal not correcting issues and not returning disputed funds so the bank said no more.

I use it to get paid for some small contracts. I prefer to use credit card for making purchases, because I get 2% back on that.

My PayPal account got hacked about 2 years ago and a sum of 10,000 brittish pounds (foreign currency) were deducted from my bank account over 7 different transactions. Needless to say, I didn't have that much in my bank account, so was charged major overdraft fees, interest, credit card was maxed out (which is tied to my debit/checking for overdraft protection, and my debit/checking is tied to my savings). I had no access to money for 3 weeks while the bank sorted out the issues. PayPal apparently noticed the odd transactions and halted the charges, but money was not redeposited into my account. It was a major hassle and when I finally got my money back, and argued my way out of the overdraft fees and whatnot, I canceled my PayPal account all-together. Which does suck because I can no longer use ebay, but I'm finding that craigslist is just as easy to sell on and I don't have to pay shipping or travel to the post office to mail stuff.

And in case you were wondering, I had PayPal linked to my bank account because I was selling a lot of crap on ebay at the time and wanted to be able to transfer the money to my account and actually use it.

If I have to buy anything on ebay now, or through a website that uses paypal, I only put it on a credit card through USAA. They have amazing anti-fraud programs and if you call them saying your account was stolen, they reverse all charges immediately no questions asked while they investigate the matter.
