The callsign must be registered to the persons Address. PO Box isn't an option. So, this is why I haven't posted my callsign... if you put it into google you'll find all kinds of stuff about me... long/lat of my house, gps coords of my house, my address, etc...

another reason why I don't put it on my automotive license plate anymore either... it says "this is who I am and where you can find me...."

First two pages on just your screen name have all kinds of stuff. I will say that I have found another jerrymrc out there. I wonder how long before his gaming name gets intertwined with mine and his folks start asking about the guns.....

Been awhile since I've been on here.

Yes as KevDen2005 said I have mine. Just renewed my lic last year or year before. Am a Technician class. Mine is KC0_ _ _. I don't know yet whether or not I feel like posting mine on the net so until I figure that out. Thats all I'll say. I haven't had a radio installed and powered up in a few years. I reaaaaaally want to refresh my knowledge and install in my truck. Just been procrastinating.

Like I said I have been meaning to do it. In all honesty IF shtf then a license is going to be the least of my worries. At least I know how to build an antenna and have the basics on the older HF stuff.

I will say that it will be better to receive than give.

If SHTF I think there will still be at least government agency up and running to enforce users having licenses on pretty much everything that is required for them...

I'm a General Class license holder. Been licensed since 92. I don't do it much but I do have a dual band HT I used a lot to talk to my F.I.L. back in CA when I was stationed there.

    Default Ham Operator

    Hello

I just made my first post on another Ham question and included my call sign as part of the ending and just had to do a edit to remove it. I am an AE also the last test was very difficult but the first two were easy. The code was necessary then and it was difficult due to a hearing problem due to too many guns, loud music and machinery. YES it cam be very expensive, no more than guns though. Don't ask, I have a lot tied up in both. They are both great hobbys. (ACØ??)
