Default Good Stuff, Made In The USA

A previous thread got me thinking, what is good stuff that's made here in the US? What I want is quality product for a good price. Post a URL if you can... I'll start. (and if you're affiliated with a company, say so)

Lodge Cast Iron cookware - http://www.lodgemfg.com/ - I just got mine a week ago so I can only say how they seemed new. Solid, heavy, cast freaking iron. Note that it'll outlive me, but they are a lot more work to take care of. Apparently their Enamel products are imported from China

My wife also likes Lodge cast iron cookware.

I think it doesn't really matter where it's made just as long as the quality control is there.

Things can be made equally shitty here too if no one is there to oversee that the product is made well.

I try to buy Made In USA items when I can. Sometimes, it's just not possible.

One of my favorites are Danner Boots. They offer many models that are still made here. Expensive but worth it.

I also wear a lot of Carhartt clothing. Lots of Carhartt products are still made here.

All kinds of great gun stuff...MagPul comes to mind from right here in CO.

I also buy only USA-made tools when I need something.

Our government has made it so difficult and expensive to operate a business and manufacture things here that it's amazing anything is still made here. It'll only get worse if democrats have their way with things like Cap and Trade.

X2. I'm on my second pair of Danner Quarry boots in the last 7 years(I wear these everyday for work). Great boots and I also love Carhartt clothes.

I just bought some random samplings of jerky from Jerkey.com, which is listed on that site. Trying to find something I like enough that I could stockpile and still eat regularly, to keep it rotating.

I'd really like to see reviews or testimonials for good products, where it makes sense to spend the money on a quality product. Seems so hard to buy something that isn't made in China and won't break in a month.

Gonna check out those jeans and boots. I have been liking my Toters jeans too http://www.totersjeans.com ... they aren't cheap, but they last a while.

Red Wing boots-top quality but when you shop at their stores you'll see some of their shoes are made here and some overseas. They do tell you which in their catalogs. I have a pair of their USA work boots going on 6 yrs. and still in good shape.

I just broke out a new pair of Raptors that I bought when the Littleton Sportsman's Warehouse closed. I get about 3 years of very hard, almost everyday wear out of them.

I'm sending the old pair back for "recrafting".
