Sure, but I strongly recommend keeping both a soft and a hard copy of all of the documents for later use. You have to re-do the process every 5 years for a TS clearance and every 10 for Secret. Having the documentation from your last investigation speeds the gathering process for the next investigation. Having a soft copy saves you from having to re-type the info again. Even if they go to another version or a whole different application, you can usually just cut-and paste the data from the old to the new, then fill in with what's happened since that time.
That's the reason I saved a .pdf copy AND printed out my completed questionnaire - all 52 pages of it!
