    I won't ever pass an oppertunity to shoot something new. After messing with large bore guns, don't take it the wrong way since it's just my opinion but the .22lr just feels lame.

    I agree it's no where near the fun of big bore stuff.

    and there are some of us who due to physical limits or past injuries are unable to shoot larger bore firearms, not accurately for extended periods of time.

    You forgot the mighty 45/70. I love shootin the 22lr, I have 3 pistols and 4 rifles in 22lr. My farorite rifle is an 1892 32-20 with tang sight. It has no recoil just like a 22 but a bigger bullet.

    I like my .22's! But I also like my Winchester 1886 .45-70, and my AR in .458 SOCOM! (Never know when that rogue bulldozer is gonna sneak up on you....)

    My GP gun is a .308, though.
