Did they give an indication of the plane size?

A Cessna 310 carrying 3 executives from Tesla Motors hit a power distribution center in Palo Alto yesterday, knocking out power to a number of datacenters.

Damn, that looks like a lot of damage for a small plane.

A Cessna 172 hit an skyscraper in Tampa after 9/11 and did minimal damage. I guess the only question here is was it intentional or not.

If it's intentional then you can add general aviation to the list of my hobbies being endangered by terrorists.

    Reports are this is intentional.

A man set his house on fire, then took off and crashed into that building...FBI is actually next door, but that building DOES house the IRS Last Resort offices, which are the last place to go before the IRS takes everything...

We have a TV on in my shop with the volume all of the way down. I was walking by and I saw the footage with the caption referring to a small plane crashing into a building in Austin, TX.

I immediately had 2 thoughts on this subject:
    (1) Was this intentional (word now is that the pilot set his house on fire prior to getting into the plane & he apparently hit the IRS offices in that building).
    (2) With all of the small plane crashes that occur (which admittedly aren't that many), you always hear how they crashed into a field or woods or perhaps even a home but you never hear about them crashing into a building in cities.

ETA: Sorry Ridge, you just type faster than me.

I don't know, if I had a whole plane I could sell, I might not feel like I was losing everything. I guess that is subjective though. Maybe that guy's plane was the equivalent to my beater car.

the building is along a flight path..... If the IRS was taking my stuff, I wouldn't kill myself, I'd burn it all and laugh when they showed up!!!
