Default Precarious Move to Force Healthcare – Where you goin’ Oba’Mao?

Couldn’t care less how this potential decision impacts the short-term political landscape but the path chosen will greatly impact the American constituency long-term. Precarious indeed, where will the Dear Leader” take us?

Keep on eye on this decision folks. If the Socialist Party chooses to pursue the reconciliation option what will that tell us about this Administrations respect for the people [you]? Think about it, and if they ram this shit down our throats because of narrow-minded, short-sighted pride and politics, America must hold Doh’bama, skank Pelosi and Reid directly accountable for driving this country one more giant step into decay. They manage [manipulate] to the low-end in this country, those on the left side of the bell-curve [pick any subject/topic] and they’re potentially taking all of us with them should this arrogant tactic play-out. My ask of you, stay close on this one, and be vocal (Blogs, forums, friends, neighbors, etc.)

Obama Writing Health Bill to Skirt GOP Filibuster
    Updated February 19, 2010
    SOURCE: Foxnews.com

    Politico BLOG

“…Obama has said he is open to Republican ideas for changing the health care system. But many Democrats seriously doubt GOP leaders will support compromises that could draw enough lawmakers from both parties to create a bipartisan majority.

If next week's meeting does not break the logjam, congressional Democrats will face a tough choice. They can pass a highly diluted health care bill or nothing at all, which would send them into the November elections with a high-profile failure despite their control of Congress and the White House.

Or they can use the aggressive and contentious tactic, known as reconciliation, to pass a far-reaching health care bill in the Senate without having to face the GOP. Democrats lost their ability to block filibusters when Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown won a Senate seat last month…”

FYI, you'd have better chances of making a convincing argument to people in the middle by leaving out phrases such as "Dear Leader", "Oba'Mao", and "skank".

Can't dispute that, you are right and point noted. Don't expect any changes to my poor style though. Thanks for the free bump with your valid criticism.

Sure. I'd also point out that Reconciliation process is only contentious when you're not the party in power.

As the Democrats pointed out when the Republicans used it, and now the exact same people who bashed it then are using it now. You would think these politicians thought that the public doesn't have "VCR" technology.

Personally, I doubt the Dems have the cajones to push it through. And even if they did, these reforms are weak half measures that seem to only make a bad situation worse.

I wish everyone who got healthcare from their company had it's cost shown as a deduction from their paycheck.

there are too many dems that see the writing on the wall. they value their own asses and own political careers more than they do pushing health care through for obama. politicians are two faced liars, all of them. they will save their own skin first.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.
