I agree -- quitting in general is something the nation tends to look down on, and suggesting it's because people weren't nice to her and made fun of the family doesn't help because they'd face even more attention on the national scale. When the going gets tough, the tough...quit? I don't think so.

I'm not a real big fan of Sarah Palin. Frankly, I find her a bit cartoonish. Her Aww-shucks, sweetheart, folksy persona is endearing, but exactly the opposite of what I want in a president. I do appreciate that she isn't (yet) a career politician, but I just can't take her seriously.

I would like a candidate for president to be more serious minded.

I think the mainstream Republican party has usurped the tea party movement and Sarah Palin was the instrument they used to do so.

On a side note, I think a good 2012 Republican ticket would be Ron Paul/Condoleeza Rice. These are individuals with a proven track record and who actually have the experience necessary to both represent us to the rest of the world and navigate the quagmire that is Washington DC.

Wow, you guys don't like an actual gun-toting, hunting, conservative? Are you high?
What do you want? More lawyers like BO?
Maybe more connected, corrupt, Washington insiders?
    She's got my vote.

Just because you are a gun-toting, hunting, conservative, doesn't mean you are fit to lead or have any clue what you are doing. I have lots of friends that think they are conservative, but there is no way that I'd ever put them into office.

I'm with Stuart on this one. Being a conservative gun owning hunter are not the only requisites for being president.

You've got to be kidding. Have you guys ever read her opinions? She is about as conservative as it gets...
    Against illegals
    Against big Gov
    Against Gov waste
    Against Socialist healthcare

    For gun rights
    For poperty rights
    For lower taxes
For the right to FREE SPEECH
    Is that not conservative enough?

So because she is not a 65 year old sellout career politician, she is not experienced enough? Putting down her qualifications is exactly what the liberals want you to do.
I'll vote for a person I can relate to anytime versus to some rich f-ing lawyer or rich f-ing banker like your supposed to want... No thanks!!

I do like these points and I really do like her stances. I guess with the right people should be work well as the pres. She definitely isn't afraid to throw things out there and tell them how they are.
If her and Dick Cheney ran together I would be all for it.

At this point anything is better than BHO and JB. they are fucking us left and right with a smile on their faces.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

    Funny, Palin and Cheney!!!
    I like that idea!
She would definately need top advisors after she gets rid of BO's Constitution wrecking crew..
Then we won't have to say pretty please to terrorists anymore to get information. I think Bush and Cheney had the right idea on that one. While we're at it, how bout a little profiling so we can actually search the likely suspects instead of letting them pass while strip searching someone's 80 year old grandmother to be PC...
