    I would open carry but I look to young What is the legal age to open carry...isn't 18?

    I don't believe I've ever read any age restrictions on open carry

    But in CO, for handguns, 18 is the youngest age you can own one (via private party sale or as a gift, federal regulations prevent you from buying one from an FFL until 21)

    So I guess that makes 18 the youngest age by default.

    I always tell people that there are only a few places by law that restrict you to carry a firearm, concealed or otherwise, hospitals and schools come to mind right off the top of my head after a very long shift and I am about to rack out. Places like the mall, movie theatre, etc that don't allow firearms are doing so by company policy, not by law. Which means if you are concealed, they shouldn't know about it anyway unless you need it and if you need, who give a sh*% what they think. If they found out about it otherwise all they could do is have you leave.
