My wife is returning from a biz trip tonight and we're going out for dinner. I'd like to up it a notch from our usually Taco Bell. Any suggestions in SW JeffCo area?

How expensive? There is Simms Landing on 6th and Union if you like seafood and a view. 240 Union on the other side of the highway is a very good as well (and probably less pricey). Anything in particular you are looking for? I'm partial to Mexican food myself.
Price should be under $35 for two. Just a notch above TacoBell. She's only been gone a week. I like everything.

Go buy some steaks, wine, and cook for her it will mean alot more...
Oh okay, then you like the same restaurants I do. I like Jose O'sheas just SW of 6th and Simms.
Also, there is a place called Columbine Steakhouse on 6th and Federal that is very good. They bring you a regular knife and fork wrapped in a napkin, but with a killer steak. It is kind of ghetto for how good their steaks are, but I like it because you don't have to pay for "atmosphere" and it is the only steak house I can afford that has actual GOOD steaks. Much better than anything I've ever had at Outback or any of those places.
I think there is a Rodizio grill around there. Not sure on price but the food was varied and good.
ETA: Apparently I am out of the loop. It isn't there anymore. The Fort may be a bit over what you want to spend, but well worth it. $35 each or total?
ETA 2: again lol. I have gone full retard. There is a great mongolian BBQ off Arapahoe and Quebec. A bit east of where you are looking but All you can eat and very good.

Or just go to where Stuart says.
Mexican or/and Mongolian. Good choices. We used to eat Mongolian all the time out in Los Angeles.

There used to be that Ghangas Grill at Colorado Mills. The make your own mongolian deal, but it's gone now and I don't know where another one is except for in Denver.
