Yup. On shorter barrels you setup the gas system in the pistol position and use an adjustable gas block to switch between subsonic and supersonic loads.
On longer barrels, carbine position works okay I hear. This is what Ive found in my research the last couple weeks. Im working on one right now.

Thanks! Waiting on a stamp for my first can, and was thinking about setting up a .300 Whisper. Haven't done much research on it at all yet.

To quote an old friend of mine, "It runs like shit goes through a goose."

The gas port is in the pistol location and is pretty big. I have tried a few different powders and all of the cycle the gun and lock it open. Even with subsonic (220 Sierra Matchkings) loads. With supersonic ammo (125 Nosler ballistic tips) it also cycles 100% and isnt tearing the rims off either.

Noveske only does runs of 300 barrels every once in a while. This barrel was an experiment of theirs at 9.5 inches. Most everyone uses 10.5 and 16.25 barrels.

Just say the word and I will put a price tag on it. Building another is easy.

I will have the bolt gun there for sure. I need to get more ammo loaded up though. Hopefully Uncle Sam will give me a day off so I can make it to my own match...
