Sticking with the "no news is good news" philosophy the match is on for tomorrow. 8:30 sign up and 9:30 start. The forecast is calling for a little bit of rain but it'll be keeping the temperature down! Don't forget there are stage templates available for download on the previous page of this thread.

Hey everyone. I'm working on resurrecting the email list. The plan is to send out a message out tonight to everyone that I have. If you would like to be on there or know anybody that would be interested drop me a pm with an email address. I'm also going to keep this thread up to date so this will be a good place to get info, too.

I just sent an email out to the list I have. Here is the info for everyone else:

The August match is this coming Saturday (the 24th). As always sign up starts at 8:30 and we'll start shooting as close to 9:30 as we can. The fee is still only $15 for four stages. There will be 3 slug targets. Remember bring some but we'll have extras just in case.

Here is a link to the planned stages. We have one at the tower and what I think will be a very interesting stage submitted by Rosy. It's not like anything I've seen at any match I've been to and I'm very excited.

Come on out and have a good time. If you have any friends that might be interested please invite them to join us.

This match is GREAT for beginners. It's very low key with a bunch of good people at a nice range. What could be better?

What's the furthest distance for rifle and shotgun shots?

Rifle doesn't get much past 50 yards. Certainly less than 100. Birdshot is closer than 20. There's a long slug shot of 40-50 this time but that's rare. Those are all estimated but it's close.

Thanks. Helps me decide what rifle to shoot. I've shot a 9mm carbine for rifle in the past. I assume that is still ok?

A few guys use 9mm ARs if I'm not mistaken. I concur. This is real low key, lots of fun, great facility, good practice, good guys to hang and shoot with.
