The recalls are over. This would be for the next elections.

No need to get snippy, your post about the match said "Proceeds will once again be going to the Park County Republican Party. I believe the recent recalls have proven that it can make a difference so come show your support. Additional donations will be accepted." I may be reading your words incorrectly (please correct me if I'm wrong) but to me you are saying that by coming and paying an entry fee to the match you are supporting a cause, and your quote indicates that cause is one connected to the recalls. As in my entry fee will be helping to shape the future of Colorados legislative agenda in a more gun friendly way. I am suggesting that supporting the Park County GOP isn't likely to result in CO becoming more gun friendly. Supporting BFDF IS more likely to result in CO becoming more gun friendly (the Morse/Giron recall is over, however there is at least one other going on plus an effort by BFDF to repeal some of the anti-gun laws passed).

This thread IS about the match, the match is using money collected from competitors to give to a political entity, thus it is relevant to the match. No need to attempt to shut me up about it.
    Dude, where's my can?

Sorry if that came across as snippy or meant to shut anybody up. It seriously wasn't meant to. My original intent was just to say that we can make a difference while stating a fact about where the money will be going this month. I'm just the who spreads the word.

Looks like I also had a very odd double post...

The match is tomorrow everyone! All in the info is in a previous post. The weather forecast says there may be a little snow on the ground when we arrive so maybe bring a jacket.

What a day we had at Lake George. I'm not even sure what the final count was right now but it made up 3 pretty good squads.

I think the normal stages were well received. Hope everyone enjoyed them. I'm very open to feedback on these. Did you like some part and want to see more? Was there something you just hated? If you have some constructive criticism I want to hear that, too. I'm new at this stage design thing and I want to keep bringing everyone better matches.

The team stage was a pretty big mess. Due to a very strict schedule it suffered from some massive cuts and that added to the confusion. Lesson learned there for sure. On the plus side I think everyone that shot it at least had fun and got a pretty satisfying finale! Yeah...I'll end that thought on a positive note.

Thanks to Randy and his wonderful staff for the help. They did a lot of the stage setup so there wasn't a lot of heavy lifting to do in the morning. They also collected and tallied the scores. There was also a nice award ceremony with bbq and trophies! It's very much thanks to them that we are able to have this match so thank you very much!

I'll relay the scores out to the mailing list after they are sent to me. If anyone one reading this wrote down their email on a score sheet please pm it to me, too.

October is the last scheduled match for the year. Stay tuned as we get closer for details.

The October 3-Gun match is this Saturday the 26th.

We'll be back up to four stages and there will be two slug targets. There will be some extra slugs in case some of you can't find any so don't let that stop you from showing up. Part of this match was put together by Mike H. which is very much appreciated. It includes some non-standard scoring to mix things up a bit. We'll also have a fun surprise or two considering it's almost Halloween!

More than other months the stages may be changed on game day. There are a couple things I may throw in there and we may adjust the round count and complexity depending on how many people show up, the level of interest, and the weather. This includes adding a slung rifle to a stage so you may want to pack one just in case. I'm also tossing around the idea of doing some team stages more often and may throw one together.

The stages should be viewable here.

The match fee is $15. For anyone looking for specific information on the rules, divisions, and scoring here is a link to the MLC 3-gun match rules. If you're a newcomer to the match I strongly advise that you take a look at it.

Have fun everyone! Wish I could make it. Great job with taking the match over and reviving it Fromk. Great facility provided at M Lazy C helps. Everyone should go, it's a blast.

It was another two-squad match this month! Thanks for everyone who came out. This is the last scheduled match for the year so it made me happy to go out with a big crowd. The email with the results has been sent out. If they didn't make it to you send me a pm with your email address and I'll get that to you.

Thanks to Randy and his staff for everything they do. Thanks to Mike H for his part of stage 2.

I'm going to pencil in a November match for the 23rd. It's the weekend before Thanksgiving so I don't think it will get in the way too much. Weather is the big unknown from here until spring. If the opportunity to put one on comes up any time between now and April I'll get the word out.
