I second all that. This was my first 3Gun match (id shot one idpa match before) and I don't think I've missed a match since last year. Absolutely fantastic for beginners, if you have basic safety skills (ie took NRA class, have shot IDPA or any other competition) please join us.

Today was quite the revival for this match. We went from 4 last month to more than 20 this time around! Thanks to Randy for hosting and everyone else who helped get this match set up and running.

I hadn't shot this match in at least a couple years, was great to see lots of new faces and some changes to the range and stages. It's really a fun venue for a match. Thanks to Michael, Matt and everyone else that sets up and runs the matches. Thanks to Randy for allowing them to happen. I hope to shoot next months match. Congrats to Carey for the win.

That's what I was thinking too, but if it's bumped forward a week I'd like to know. I'm back in town and have both weekends free. There's no way in hell I'm missing this one.

It is on the 28th. I'll be getting the mass email and official update out on Sunday or Monday but there will be 3 normal stages plus a team stage!

The September 3-Gun match is this Saturday the 28th!

As always it will be $15 for the match and there will be a tasty bbq lunch for $8. Sign up begins at 8:30 and shooting will start promptly at 9:30.

Proceeds will once again be going to the Park County Republican Party. I believe the recent recalls have proven that it can make a difference so come show your support. Additional donations will be accepted.

This month there will be 3 stages. After that there will be an optional 4-person team stage that will be scored separately. When the shooting is done there will be a bbq lunch and an awards ceremony!

I have posted a copy of the stages that should be viewable HERE. They may be changed a bit by Saturday but this is pretty much it. There are special rules for the team stage so please check those out.

For anyone looking for specific information on the rules, divisions, and scoring here is a link to the MLC 3-gun match rules. If you're a newcomer to the match I strongly advise that you take a look at it.

IMO if your aim is to support the recalls you might want to donate to these guys http://www.basicfreedomdefensefund.org/, the GOP in fact opposed the recalls.
