Where do I start? the most recent incident was this past sunday, I was down in San Diego(awesome place, besides the politics) and had two surf boards stolen out of the back of my brothers truck. thieves

hell that might be it....he has it, never used it, cheap enough to move quick and not ask questions.

do you know your serial number? do you have a CCW? go there, tell him you would like to buy it as long as you can check the function, look at the serial number...it is it yours tell him "thanks for stealing this and I appreciate you giving it back without me having to call the cops".

would be nice, but this one listed on craigslist is the the "legend" model i think, my is the standard etrex (basic model)

I don't have the serial number handy, but if I turn it on and it's got my house as a waypoint... then we're talking thief.

no biggie - thought about buying this legend version, good price, but I'm unfortunately between jobs for a few days... it's been a bad week.
