I just got my letter today and went over tonight and picked up my permit. I am in Denver county. The LEO was super cool. "Here is your permit. Thanks for doing this lawfully. Enjoy your second amendment rights"

    Drop off date: 10/6/2010
    Pick up date: 12/6/2010

Thats what they told me too... but mine only took 75 days! When she gave me mine she had a stack of them she had to sort through to find mine. Maybe I just got lucky.

Arapahoe took around 75 days when I got mine a couple years ago. I think it has more to do with the way they conduct the process than anything else. They were very friendly when I went in to turn in the paperwork, prints and the same when they called to say I could come pick it up.

Another thing everyone might want to think about - when I picked mine up they warned me to laminate it to keep the finish from wearing off, as it's all just printed on. I used some of that self-adhesive plastic sheet to protect mine, and it's worked well.
