36 days in Denver? That's impressive.

I thought 60 days in Denver to get mine was impressive but I guess not! Congrats!

Here comes the wait...wont be any different than the wait for me to have a free day to do this.
If we count from 1/19, 44 days.

The CBI does not accept money orders older than 6 months. I received a call from Det. Deirdre Jones of the Denver CCW unit (great woman!) on Monday morning saying she received back my money order because it was 6 months and 2 days old.

Thanks CBI...so that afternoon I got a new one and made arrangements to drop it off with her this morning. CBI is full of surprises, the "rejection" form they sent along had all kinds of confusing stuff on it. Some boxes checked, others checked and then whited out, random stuff highlighted...real fun. So she had filled out two new fingerprint cards for me and re-did my prints just in case they had a problem with my originals but couldn't quite spit it out to tell me.
But this little snafu occurred on 2/1, which would put me at 32 days.

But either way, got my letter from Denver PD today. Going to pick up my permit now.

Just got my call. 56 days in Arapahoe County.

Incidentally, does anyone know where to get "cold laminating" done? The lady recommended I get it done at Office Depot, but the guy there had no idea what cold laminating is. Are we talking two pieces of packing tape?

34 days for Douglas County. The folks that do the permits were incredibly easy to work with.
