    Default Paint Jobs

I have a black long rifle that I think I may want to get painted. I'm thinking some sort of desert type or even some sort of urban grey type of camo....

    How do you do it?
    Certain type of paint, etc?
What are your favorite patterns, etc?
The stock is a little "texturized" (B&C MK2 stock), can I paint over that?
Other thoughts I may be missing?

    Thank you.

Unless You want something "hi-tech" (Meaning expensive), get a couple of differant colors of Krylon and go for it.. Also, if you decide you don't like it, comes off easy enough..

Go to wally world, buy some Krylon.. the one near me has the flat cammo colors again, well at least until I get back there and buy it all up.

So do a google search and find the preferred pattern

Clean the surfaces with a degreaser, remove any residue from that.
Tape off as appropriate with masking tape
    Spray away!

Remember to keep the can about 3-5" away from the surface being painted and to use even strokes (shut up you pervs). Take your time!!!!! If you lay a base color down, let the paint cure (e.g. let it dry for 12-24 hours) before moving on and remember.. less is more.

As Marlin said.. just use Krylon.. easy to clean off or touch up.

Does Krylon get sticky or anything in a hot/humid enviroment?
    Does it flake off easily?
