Default How do I paint my SPR stock?

Recently I just picked up a FNH SPR A5. Sweet looking rifle. While i'm waiting for some "ugprades" to come in for it, I wanted to paint the Stock only. It came in with a McMillan A5 stock in Taticool black, and I would rather paint it either more ACU color or a tanish color. The thing I'm worried about is that in the paperwork that comes with the rifle,it mentions the stock was professionally hand bedded by one of FN's certified gun smiths and promises 1/2 MOA as its companied with a copy of the 100yard target with the .44 inch group shot with it with Federal Gold match and Leopold scope information.

If I were to take apart the action/barrel from the stock, paint it and put everything back together would I lose accuracy as promised?
