I have no idea whats going on and why we are considering martial and/or marital law, can someone fill me in please?

It would be foolish, in my opinion, to believe that martial law or a govt crackdown is entirely impossible in this country.

The group of guys that beat up the old lady in new orleans and took her gun "for safety" were all california highway patrol, and I wouldn't doubt that there were some ex military there by the look of them.

I didn't see the OP, so maybe the tinfoil jokes are warranted.

My comment wasn't made as a joke, I am totally convinced the sedentary lifestyle we have come to live that allows the government to do whatever it wants will be the end for many that one day not long ago would've stood up and fought for their freedoms.
