You're missing the point. Politicians can demand stuff all they want but it won't matter unless there is a significant amount of people who will carry out the demands. That is obviously the crux of the issue. I lean to the side that there are all kinds of abuse of civilian rights on a small scale all the time, but as long as there are parts of the country that are stable, it won't be a long term issue.

It sounded to me more like SA Friday said that it wasn't very likely to happen, not that it couldn't happen. Anything can happen, but it doesn't mean it's going to, or even if it does that it would necessarily be soon. All those folks who were sure that Y2K was going to be such a huge deal wound up just pressing on the next day.

Is it possible?,, Yes.. Is it probable? No... As I said in another thread,The occupant of the oval office is so anti military it won't happen. Besides, if He even thought about it, He'd have to worry about his base going before any of us could even get our stuff together.. You all forget that most of the left views the military as a glorified "meals on wheels" program for Africa,, that is their only use.. Nothing more...

I'm currently on spring vacation, and when I take breaks from the homework I see what's up on here.

Now.. If you want to discuss something, then explain yourself. "Martial law next?" That's it? Why? You said 'next', so what is causing martial law to happen? Hey, string a complete sentence together before you get upset about someone thinking you're a little cracked for a post like that. With two total posts for all I know you are some trolling a-hole looking to try to stir up crap.

You found someone to agree with you. I still have yet, from either of you, to hear why the sky is going to fall. All I've read so far is "you're a big meanie..." OK, sorry about my initial post.

Well hey so if i had 1,000 posts you would have reacted different? That still doesnt makes sense to me, and never will but ok.

and martial law could happen whenever, i dont care what other say, when i little wind and rain came through a city they went into it. So im not saying it would happen for no reason, im saying if we got nuked or something... looting and roits around the US, you dont think it "could" happen? I think it wouldnt even take something as big like a nuke... could be 1,000's of things.

If you had more posts, he might know a little bit more about you. It's pretty tough to have people follow your intention on such a vague statement when you've never posted before.

Also, like has already been posted, the big thing everyone wants to know about is, what makes you think within 6 months? Throwing out hypothetical things like nukes or whatever is fine, but which of those do you think is coming in 6 months?
