Default Plastic bumper repair near Boulder ?

We got lots of snow yesterday. They made a huge snowpile near my garage door. Of course, I did not notice it and backed my car to it and now have a cracked rear bumper

Is there any decent plastic bumper repairer nearby Boulder or Longmont ? I know there is one in CO Springs and one in Denver, but would prefer closer location if possible.

Any experiences about Denver bumper or Bumpers-n-wheels.com ?

I could probably do it myself, but the car is only few months old and I still would like to keep it nice.

Best bet is to get a bumper from a parts place and repaint it. Repairing plastic doesn't do that well. That's just my opinion though, I've got no body shop experience.

I agree with Stuart. Its going to end up being a JBWeld job with a board of wood behind it to support it...

I agree with you guys. However, as the bumper cover is only available from Mitsubishi dealer with a price tag little over $1k painted, I would try something else first...

Yep^^...this...^^ and it not opinion, its fact, I've got 21 years of auto body experience. And, $100 for a new painted bumper is SUPER cheap.

    Good luck

you should be able to just get the plastic shell...the actual bumper probably wasn't damaged.

might have to get it painted as well unless you can find a used one.

bet the total replacement cost with paint will be around $500-700
